Peace Of Mind

Sleep easy knowing your business data is safely backed up and tested for recovery.

Speedy Recovery

When something goes wrong, we get you back online in hours, not days or weeks.

Minimised Cost

Avoid the catastrophic cost of downtime, lost data, and reputation damage.

Ransomware Resilience

Immutable, off-site backups mean ransomware can't hold your business hostage.

Plan Ahead And Prosper

A backup is only as good as your ability to restore from it. We design, run and test the whole lifecycle for you.

Tailored Backup Sets

No two businesses are the same. We design backup sets matched to your data volumes, recovery time objectives, retention requirements and budget.

  • Tiered local + off-site copies
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Granular retention policies

Scheduled Monitoring

Backups are checked, monitored and reported on every single day. Failed jobs are flagged immediately so problems are caught long before you need to restore.

  • Daily backup health checks
  • Periodic restore testing
  • Monthly status reporting

Business Continuity Planning

A documented plan that sets out exactly what happens, who does what, and how quickly you'll be back up, so a disaster never becomes a guessing game.

  • Recovery time & point objectives
  • Roles, responsibilities & runbooks
  • Annual plan review & testing

Why You Need A Business Continuity Plan

A backup gets your data back. A continuity plan gets your business back. It documents how you'll keep operating during a major incident: fire, flood, ransomware, hardware failure, or extended outage, and how you'll fully recover afterwards.

The Cost Of Downtime

For most SMBs, every hour of downtime costs thousands in lost productivity and revenue; and the average ransomware incident takes weeks to fully recover from. The right backup & recovery setup pays for itself the first time you need it.

Our Backup & Recovery Process

A proven 4-step approach so you always know exactly what's protected, and exactly how fast we can get you back.

1

Discovery

We map your data: where it lives, how critical it is, and how quickly it needs to come back. From this we set realistic recovery time and recovery point objectives.

2

Implementation

We deploy and configure backup agents and off-site repositories, encrypt everything end-to-end, and verify the first complete backup runs cleanly.

3

Monitoring

Backups are checked daily, restore tests are run periodically, and you receive a monthly health report so there are never any surprises.

4

Restoration

When (not if) something goes wrong (accidental deletion, hardware failure, ransomware) we restore the affected data or systems quickly and verify everything is back to working order.

Common Questions

Doesn't Microsoft 365 already back up my email?

No, and this is one of the biggest misconceptions in business IT. Microsoft and Google both protect their infrastructure, but they don't back up your data against accidental deletion, ransomware, or rogue users. A third-party backup is essential.

How often are backups run?

For most clients we run multiple backups per day for critical systems and daily for everything else. The exact schedule is tuned to your recovery point objective: i.e. the maximum amount of data loss you can tolerate.

Where are the backups stored?

We follow the 3-2-1 rule: three copies of your data, on two different media types, with at least one stored off-site. Off-site copies are stored in Australian data centres by default.

Do you actually test the restores?

Yes. Untested backups are just hopes. We periodically restore sample data and, for critical systems, run full DR tests to verify the entire recovery process works end-to-end.

What happens if we get hit by ransomware?

Our backups are immutable and off-site, so ransomware can't encrypt or delete them. We isolate affected systems, rebuild from clean backups, and have you operational quickly, without paying a ransom.

How quickly can you restore my data?

It depends on the system and how much data is affected: a single deleted file is minutes, a full server can range from a few hours to a day. We agree these targets up front so there are no surprises.
